We are currently searching for a Site Engineer to work with a renowned Main Contractor on an exciting £60m education project in Feltham. This is a brownfield site with a considerable demolition package ongoing to make way for 3 new buildings along with playing fields, parking and infrastructure.

As Site Engineer, you will be the engineering lead on site, reportable to the Project Manager. Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Setting out works in accordance with drawings, specifications and programmes
  • Managing day-to-day site engineering activities, ensuring works are built to design and quality standards
  • Liaising with subcontractors, consultants and the design team to resolve technical queries and coordinate works
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety requirements, method statements and risk assessments
  • Checking drawings, specifications and materials to ensure accuracy and suitability before installation
  • Monitoring progress and reporting to the Project Manager, highlighting risks, delays or technical issues
  • Quality control, including inspections, snagging and ensuring works meet contractual standards
  • Maintaining site records, including as-built drawings, surveys, permits and inspection reports

Experience Required:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a Setting Out/Site Engineer role
  • Main Contracting experience beneficial but not essential
  • Strong CAD skills proficient with Lieca TS15/16 EDMs
  • All applicants must hold a CSCS card as a minimum with SMSTS and First Aid being beneficial.
