The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

We are currently searching for a Project Manager for a mixed-use scheme in Richmond. The scheme comprises the refurbishment of an existing building to create commercial units, a two-storey vertical steel frame extension and basement construction. In addition, a brand new façade will be installed throughout.

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of the project from Preconstruction through to Handover. The main works are due to commence in mid-March, so there is an opportunity to be heavily involved in the Precon and have a big input on design.

The Role:

  • Overall responsibility for the delivery of construction projects, from pre-construction through to completion and handover
  • Managing programme, resources and logistics, coordinating multiple subcontract packages and site teams
  • Leading and motivating site and project teams, including Site Managers, Engineers, QSs and supply chain
  • Primary point of contact for the client, consultants and stakeholders, managing expectations and communication
  • Commercial control of the project, including cost reporting, change management, valuations and final accounts
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental standards, company procedures and statutory requirements
  • Managing design coordination and technical queries, ensuring buildability and timely information flow
  • Overseeing quality, commissioning and handover, including snagging, O&M manuals and practical completion

Experience Required:

  • 5+ years as a Project Manager on mixed-use or residential schemes
  • Experience delivering cut & carve/structural refurbishment projects
  • Strong IT skills with exposure to systems such as Procore
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid are essential
  • This is a Construction role and applicants from other industries will not be considered
