Lonsite are looking for an experienced Site Manager to work on a busy construction project in South London.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of groundworks and reinforced concrete frame works, ensuring the programme, quality and health & safety requirements are maintained.
Responsibilities
- Managing groundworks and RC frame activities on site
- Coordinating subcontractors, operatives and site teams
- Monitoring programme and daily progress
- Ensuring works are completed safely and to specification
- Managing RAMS, permits and site documentation
- Liaising with engineers, project management and subcontractors
- Carrying out site inspections and quality checks
- Coordinating concrete pours, reinforcement, formwork and associated groundworks
- Managing temporary works and sequencing of works
- Attending site and progress meetings
Requirements
- Strong previous experience as a Site Manager on groundworks and RC frame projects
- Valid SMSTS
- Valid CSCS
- First Aid
- Good understanding of RC frames, groundworks and temporary works
- Strong health & safety knowledge
- Able to manage subcontractors and site operatives
- Able to provide recent working references
