Junior Health & Safety Advisor

We're seeking a passionate Junior Health & Safety Advisor to join a dynamic ground and earthworks company company. You'll be involved in all aspects of health, safety, and environmental management, ensuring the well-being of our team and the protection of our assets. Your Responsibilities: * Proactively prevent workplace injuries and equipment damage. * Contribute to the continuous improvement of safety practices. * Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and welfare legislation. * Oversee the provision and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). * Verify the safety and compliance of plant, equipment, materials, and services. * Identify and mitigate potential hazards on construction sites. * Promote safe working methods and stay up-to-date with legislative changes. * Provide H&S input during tendering, planning, and pre-contract stages. * Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance. What You'll Bring: * NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate. * IOSH membership (or working towards). * Valid UK driving license. * Solid understanding of H&S legislation. * Previous experience in a construction H&S role (preferred).
