We are currently recruiting for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to work night shifts on a busy construction project in Tottenham, North London.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to work night shifts on a busy construction project in Tottenham, North London.

  • Main Responsibilities
  • Carry out scheduled site audits and inspections in line with legal and company requirements.
  • Promote positive health and safety behaviours across the project.
  • Monitor site activities and ensure HSE requirements are followed.
  • Review subcontractor risk assessments and method statements.
  • Identify training requirements and coordinate these with the HSE Manager.
  • Monitor site HSE systems and discuss performance with Site and Contract Managers.
  • Report unsafe practices or conditions and recommend corrective action.
  • Deliver toolbox talks, briefings and safety training.

Requirements

  • NEBOSH qualification – essential.
  • Previous health and safety experience within construction.
  • Ability to carry out detailed inspections and produce clear recommendations.
  • Confident delivering talks and training across the project.
  • Able to influence behaviours and implement HSE standards.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and making decisions on site.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • First Aid qualification – desirable.
  • Must be available for 7:00pm–7:00am night shifts and occasional weekends.
