We are currently recruiting for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to work night shifts on a busy construction project in Tottenham, North London.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to work night shifts on a busy construction project in Tottenham, North London.
- Main Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled site audits and inspections in line with legal and company requirements.
- Promote positive health and safety behaviours across the project.
- Monitor site activities and ensure HSE requirements are followed.
- Review subcontractor risk assessments and method statements.
- Identify training requirements and coordinate these with the HSE Manager.
- Monitor site HSE systems and discuss performance with Site and Contract Managers.
- Report unsafe practices or conditions and recommend corrective action.
- Deliver toolbox talks, briefings and safety training.
Requirements
- NEBOSH qualification – essential.
- Previous health and safety experience within construction.
- Ability to carry out detailed inspections and produce clear recommendations.
- Confident delivering talks and training across the project.
- Able to influence behaviours and implement HSE standards.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and making decisions on site.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- First Aid qualification – desirable.
- Must be available for 7:00pm–7:00am night shifts and occasional weekends.
