We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join an established construction company on a 210-unit traditional build residential development in Little Chesterford, Essex. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day delivery of the development, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to the highest standards of quality. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Site Manager with a strong background in traditional build housebuilding who is looking for a long-term opportunity with an established contractor. Key Responsibilities * Take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site and construction activities. * Manage and coordinate subcontractors, trades and site operatives. * Oversee the traditional build construction process from groundworks through to completion. * Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme. * Monitor progress and ensure build targets and deadlines are achieved. * Manage site logistics, deliveries and sequencing of works. * Maintain high standards of health & safety, quality and workmanship. * Liaise with the Project Manager, Contracts Manager, client and other stakeholders. * Lead and coordinate subcontractor meetings and site activities. * Identify and resolve any issues that could affect programme, quality or cost. * Maintain accurate site records, reports and site diaries. * Oversee snagging and ensure homes are completed to the required standard. * Provide leadership and direction to the site team. Requirements * Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager within residential housebuilding. * Strong experience delivering traditional build developments. * Experience working on large-scale residential developments. * Strong knowledge of construction methods, processes and NHBC standards. * Proven ability to manage subcontractors and multiple trades. * Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills. * SMSTS. * CSCS Card. (Black Preferred) * First Aid.
