Company Overview
We provide commercial heating and gas services across a wide range of sectors including schools, churches, public buildings, factories, warehouses, and offices.
Due to continued company growth, we are recruiting an additional full-time Commercial Gas Engineer to join our established team of six commercial engineers. The role will involve servicing, repairs, and small installation works, with the majority of work based across Greater Manchester.
Role Requirements
- Commercial gas qualifications including COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1 (or equivalent)
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 & 3
- Gas Safe registered
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
Key Responsibilities
- Planned preventative maintenance of commercial heating and hot water systems
- Fault diagnosis and repair of commercial heating equipment
- Servicing and repair of boilers, burners, gas-fired water heaters, and warm air/radiant heaters
- Working to RAMS and site health & safety requirements
- Clear communication with clients and colleagues
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites
Person Specification
- Proven experience diagnosing and repairing commercial gas appliances
- Strong understanding of health & safety requirements
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to undertake external training
- Able to work unsupervised and trusted to work competently
