BDO’s London based US Business Tax team helps clients with cross border touchpoints with the US, whether these are US based stakeholders in UK businesses or UK based client’s operations in the US. With a particular focus on asset management we build professionals that assist clients with their US advisory and reporting needs from our London location.

Responsibilities

  • Provide US tax advisory and reporting support to UK-based businesses and their US stakeholders.
  • Assist clients with strategic investment in the US, withholding tax issues, and other US tax matters.
  • Manage projects across a variety of client sizes, from emerging businesses to globally recognized companies.
  • Identify and highlight opportunities for enhancing delivery and providing additional services to clients.
  • Work proactively and manage own tasks while collaborating with senior managers, directors, and partners.

Qualifications

  • Willingness to complete a qualification such as US Certified Public Accountant (CPA), licensed attorney or Enrolled Agent (EA).
  • A broad base of US tax knowledge.
  • Ability to guide and supervise less experienced colleagues.
  • Ability to support, train, mentor and advise others in own area.

You will be comfortable working proactively and managing your own tasks, while confidently collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO’s partners to help businesses effectively.
