Longwood Primary Academy is opening an Alternative Resource Provision (ARP) for children with ASD. The children will attend day to day learning in the ARP; however, they will have opportunities to work in the mainstream classroom where appropriate. This will provide a unique opportunity for anyone who wants to develop their skills to oversee and deliver the day to day interventions within the provision. Part of this opportunity will include offsite training at another ARP, alongside tailored planning and support, ahead of the opening at Longwood.
Essential requirements:
- Level 3 qualification (or currently working towards achieving)
- Ability to use ICT and learn new skills
- Working in partnership with specialist teacher to support pupils' needs
