NET Academies in Harlow are looking for a Nursery Nurse or early years practitioner to join our successful team. The role involves working 32.5 hours a week during term time, supporting children’s development in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Responsibilities and Expectations
- Act as an effective role model, setting high expectations and motivating pupils to achieve.
- Plan and run small group work, ensuring an excellent understanding of EYFS outcomes.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the Early Years Framework and apply this knowledge in daily practice.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience of working with young children in Nursery and Reception.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to high expectations to meet the needs of all children.
- Good knowledge and understanding of the EYFS Curriculum and an emerging understanding of Key Stage 1 Curriculum.
- The ability to assess children accurately and contribute to their learning journeys.
- Experience of working collaboratively within a team to provide a stimulating learning environment.
- The ability to share expertise, knowledge and understanding of young children’s needs and achievements with parents and staff.
