We have an exciting opportunity for an administrator at Longview Surgical Services, working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for all communication for clinicians and their team.
- Monitor the appointment schedule of the clinical team.
- Communicate appointment and admission-related information to patients and/or carers.
- Manage the clinical stock inventory.
- Support the administrative pathway to ensure patients are seen within the mandatory waiting time target.
- Produce clinical letters and liaise with external colleagues such as GP surgeries and local hospitals.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Manage the Minor Surgery reception and administration, including handling incoming referrals, arranging appointments, scanning and managing case notes, and follow-ups.
Requirements:
- Experience with Word and Excel.
- Minimum of 1 year experience with EMIS is essential.
