About the Role
We are looking for a self–motivated maintenance technician to provide night–shift coverage across our Masham and Dalton sites. This full‑time, permanent position is part of a family‑owned business in the animal feed industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the electrical and mechanical maintenance on both sites
- Implement preventative maintenance to uphold high standards
- Provide night–shift cover as part of a 24‑hour operation
Qualifications & Experience
- Self‑sufficient, enthusiastic, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Previous experience in mechanical and electrical machine maintenance
- Skilled in troubleshooting and fault‑finding
- Good working knowledge of pneumatic and electrical control systems
- Good working knowledge of product transfer systems including elevators, drag‑chain and auger feed systems
- Preferred: PLC programming and fault‑finding experience
- Flexible to provide additional cover for a 24‑hour operation
