About Us
Due to increasing interest in the Ribble Valley’s newest wedding venue, we’re expanding our team! Located just outside Longridge, a short drive from Preston and minutes from the M6, Longridge House is a 23‑bedroom boutique hotel, restaurant, and wedding venue. Part of the Elle R Leisure family (the team behind Dukes 92 and Albert’s Restaurants), we’re building something special here: a place where every guest feels at home, every event feels personal, and every detail matters.
The Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and organised Junior Events Coordinator to join our growing team. You’ll work alongside a small team of experienced senior coordinators, learning the craft of bringing weddings and events to life, from first enquiry to final toast. It’s a hands‑on role that blends creativity, precision, and people skills in equal measure. If you love hospitality, thrive in a busy environment, and have a natural warmth that puts people at ease, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the events team with wedding and event planning, from initial enquiry to event delivery.
- Assisting with show rounds, open days, and wedding fairs.
- Liaising with couples, families, and clients — offering friendly, confident communication throughout.
- Working closely with our kitchen, front‑of‑house, and operations teams to ensure every detail is delivered beautifully.
- Helping with administration and organisation behind the scenes — from planning documents to supplier coordination.
- Playing your part in achieving sales goals, while creating moments our guests remember long after they’ve gone home.
About You
You’ll bring:
- A genuine love for people and hospitality.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail.
- Confidence communicating in person and over the phone.
- A willingness to learn and take direction from senior team members.
- A proactive, can‑do attitude — and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Ideally, previous experience in hospitality, weddings, or events.
- Based locally to Longridge or nearby, given the occasional late finishes.
Why You’ll Love It Here
At Longridge House, you’ll be part of something new, a team that celebrates craftsmanship, connection, and care. You’ll learn from experienced coordinators, be encouraged to grow in your role, and take pride in creating occasions that feel effortless yet unforgettable.
