Power BI Performance Reporting Analyst Are you an experienced Analyst with a knack for using data to identify and help solve operational performance challenges and enjoy utilising your advanced Power BI skills to create insightful and compelling dashboards and data models? If so, this may be an ideal opportunity to join a leading organisation as they expand their specialist Operations Performance Reporting Team. The Performance Analyst will be responsible for the creation, design and delivery of MI, Insight and Dynamic Performance Dashboards and high-quality analysis for Operational business areas. This will include highlighting variances from baseline plans and assumptions, tracking KPI performance, identifying any performance risks and recommending corrective actions. Interested applicants MUST possess advanced Excel & Power BI skills, be highly proficient with SQL and enjoy devising new reporting strategies to solve problems and drive meaningful insight. My client is offering a flexible hybrid model of 2 days per week onsite in the West Midlands The base salary is between £45’000 – £50’000 (DOE) + Bonus + Broad Corporate Benefits Key Role Purpose & Responsibilities * Develop and maintain reporting suites and dashboards to enhance understanding of performance progress and areas of focus and improvement via the use of Excel, SQL & Power BI * Ownership of the ground up design of reporting suites and associated data requirements * Provide robust, accurate and informative reporting solutions on a daily / weekly / monthly basis. * Working across multiple departments supporting with all aspects of reporting deliverables -ensuring data integrity and quality are at the highest standards possible What Have You Done Before? What Do You Need to Demonstrate? You’ll have deep experience within a Data led Reporting or MI position and will have the ability to create reporting solutions from the ground up tailored to meet specific business requirements. Alongside your technical and analytical capabilities, you’ll be an articulate and concise presenter of your outputs with the ability to “simplify the complex” and assist the leaderships teams gain valuable insight. Key Skills & Experience Will Include * Advanced Analytical Modelling abilities (advanced Excel & PowerBI user, with solid SQL skills) * Ability to take MI requirements and source system information & data from disparate platforms. * Articulate & concise presentation and communication style to simply complex technical and analytical information to non-technical audiences. * Able to manage conflicting priorities & work to often challenging deadlines to deliver tasks on time with high attention to detail and accuracy. * Experience in the management, planning and delivery of reporting solutions and methodologies. * Desirable – exposure to Tableau / Statistical Modelling and Machine Learning Please register your interest in the Power BI Performance Reporting Analyst position by applying as directed.
