Are you an experienced MI, Reporting or Data Analyst with natural curiosity, a knack of using reporting and automation to solve business problems and create valuable insight? If so, this could be the ideal opportunity for you to bring your advanced Excel, SQL and either Tableau / PowerBI abilities to showcase your knack for using analytics to help steer operational business decisions.

This position requires an energetic, focused and results-driven approach aligned to relevant Reporting / MI experience in a fast-paced, dynamic and change-oriented environment. Applicants MUST possess advanced Excel skills (and be highly proficient with SQL), enjoy devising new reporting strategies to solve problems and drive meaningful operational and performance Insight that enables the leadership teams to make informed, data-driven decisions.

My client is offering a flexible hybrid model of 2 days per week onsite in superb offices located in London. The commencing salary range is £45,000 - £55,000 (DOE) + Bonus + Broad Corporate Benefits.

Required:
  • Advanced Excel, SQL and either Tableau or PowerBI (experience with Alteryx is desirable)
Key Role Purpose & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the provision, analysis and communication of data which provides senior stakeholders with a clear, actionable view of operational performance, root cause analytics and identification of improvement opportunities.
  • Maintenance, development and creation of data processes and reporting suites / dashboards.
  • Design and own reporting across the business to monitor & measure operational performance.
  • Ownership of the ground-up design of reporting suites and associated data requirements.
  • Provide robust, accurate and informative reporting solutions on a daily / weekly / monthly basis.
  • Supporting with all aspects of reporting deliverables - ensuring data integrity and quality are at the highest standards possible.
  • Ownership of ‘projects’ geared to improve and enhance reporting, management information and insight reporting to a diverse range of stakeholders.
What Have You Done Before? What Do You Need to Demonstrate?

You’ll have deep experience within a Reporting or MI position and will have the ability to create reporting solutions from the ground up tailored to meet specific business requirements. Alongside your technical and analytical capabilities, you’ll be an articulate and concise presenter of your outputs with the ability to “simplify the complex” and assist the leadership teams gain valuable insight.

Key Skills & Experience Will Include
  • Advanced report production and automation - Advanced Excel, SQL are essential.
  • Ability to take MI requirements and source system information & data from disparate platforms.
  • Strong Analytical, Reporting and Visualisation skills (Tableau is highly desirable).
  • Experience creating and analysing customer journey mappings.
  • Concise, professional, and effective interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Experience in the management, planning and delivery of reporting solutions and methodologies.
  • A focused, organised & proactive approach with the ability to multi-task and complete tasks on time.
