We are seeking an experienced Project Manager β Heritage Works to join our specialist heritage construction and restoration business. Based from our office in Penkridge, Staffordshire, this is a practical, hands-on role managing heritage, refurbishment and conservation-led projects across the Midlands. Unlike large main-contractor developments, our projects require close attention to detail, careful planning and a collaborative approach to delivering high-quality work on historic buildings.
Salary Β£45,000βΒ£50,000 per annum (higher salary may be considered for candidates with exceptional experience), plus the potential for a company vehicle or vehicle allowance and possible performance-related benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Take day-to-day responsibility for the successful delivery of small heritage and refurbishment projects.
- Manage two small works teams, including two Team Leaders and approximately eight employees overall.
- Plan and sequence projects, typically valued at around Β£40,000.
- Turn agreed scopes of work into practical and achievable site delivery plans.
- Ensure labour, materials, subcontractors and site access arrangements are in place.
