This exciting new Head of Communications role will sit within the External Affairs department and line manage two direct reports. You will lead the RSB's strategic communications, branding and stakeholder engagement activities, in order to advance its mission, grow its influence with key audiences, enhance its resonance with members and potential members, and strengthen its reputation.
As Head of Communications, you will also champion consistent, impactful communication across digital and social media and the press, fostering trust among stakeholders and shaping and delivering compelling narratives about the biosciences and the RSB's work.
- Experience in leading a communications function in the charity, research or science sector.
- Experience in overseeing digital communications, marketing, branding and content production.
- The ability to translate complex scientific or technical information for non-specialist audiences (Education, qualifications or experience in the biosciences or related subjects would be an asset).
