Job Description

  • Salary: circa £45,000
  • Position: 24 months FTC
  • Location: Home based 4 days per week, with 1 day in central London

Our client is a growing professional membership organisation. They are recruiting the exciting new role of Policy and Public Affairs Manager. In this brilliant role you will be responsible for championing policy across the organisation, government, regulators and membership. You will co-author leadership papers, write policy briefings and respond to consultations. You will increase Parliamentary engagement, support increases in press coverage and help to deliver a substantial growth in social media engagement. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to have real impact within an ambitious organisation.

Requirements

  • You will have previous experience working in a policy and /or public affairs role.
  • You will be able to demonstrate excellent writing skills for policy briefings, reports and consultation responses.
  • You’ll have strong social media experience.
  • Ideally you will offer experience writing press releases and giving press comment.
  • You’ll thrive working autonomously (and with support) under pressure.
  • If you have experience of pensions, or financial services this will be a huge bonus, but all sector experience will be considered.
