The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

37 hours per week, term time, permanent Grade 5, SCP 15-20 £30,024 - £32,596 will be pro rata based on term time/full time working.

Our opportunity:

We are looking to recruit an individual to join one of our support staff teams, who has a flexible approach to supporting students and will play a role in the continued development of learning support in the college, working closely with the Additional Learning Support Manager. The role will include supporting students with additional learning needs to overcome barriers to learning; this will involve planning and delivering a range of interventions on a 1-1 basis or in small groups as well as providing comprehensive support to our students with Education Health and Care Plans and SEND. You will also work with the ALS Manager to assist in student access arrangements for exams.

As part of this role, you will work closely with the Additional Learning Support Manager to coordinate day to day requirements, such as timetabling, management of resources and supervision of staff within the additional learning support team.

Experience of working with young people with additional needs, general educational qualifications at level three and good communication and organisational skills are needed.
