We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Food & Beverage Team Member to join our team on a fixed‑term basis. If you enjoy the energy of a busy, guest‑facing environment where great service is at the heart of everything you do, this could be the perfect role for you. Based in the vibrant setting of Gough’s Café, no two days are the same—offering variety, pace, and a role where you can genuinely make a difference to the guest experience. You’ll play a key part in creating memorable visits through excellent service, strong product knowledge, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across all food and beverage areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding guest service at all times
- Develop a strong knowledge of products to confidently advise and assist guests
- Operate tills in line with cash handling procedures
- Clear and clean tables efficiently
- Maintain clean, tidy, and well‑presented front‑of‑house areas
- Support sales through effective stock replenishment and upselling
- Minimise waste and accurately record end‑of‑day figures
- Ensure all service areas meet internal hygiene and audit standards
- Handle and maintain equipment safely and correctly
About You
- Previous customer service experience is desirable but not essential
- Experience in a food and beverage environment would be an advantage, although full training will be provided
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about delivering great service
- Confident communicator with a friendly and approachable manner
- A strong team player who can also work well under pressure
- Reliable, honest, and takes pride in their work
- Flexible and willing to work weekends, evenings, and additional hours when required
Your Contract
This is a fixed‑term contract working 14 hours per week until 7th September 2026. Shifts are worked on a 7‑day rota, including weekends, bank holidays, and evenings. Typical shifts range between 8:00am and 8:00pm, depending on operational requirements.
