The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

Key Duties Will Include:

  • To carry out building, maintenance, carpentry and minor plumbing works, making good and other types of internal and external works as instructed by your manager.
  • To maintain appropriate and accurate records of time, duration and scope of works undertaken, together with materials and plant utilised on each project.
  • To ensure that all works are undertaken in a safe manner in accordance with good practice and current legislation.
  • Request necessary materials and plant as required ensuring effective completion of the works, minimising waste and surplus materials wherever possible.
  • To liaise with colleagues, ensuring they are kept informed of the nature and duration of works to be undertaken, making appointments where necessary and ensuring these are kept.
  • Support new building work installations and projects as requested.
  • To provide a customer focused service at all times ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of the brand.
  • Represent the Company at all times by being smart in appearance and presentable whilst behaving in an appropriate manner in line with our cultural values.
  • To undertake other related tasks, which might reasonably be requested by your manager.
  • Work in a responsible and safe manner at all times adhering to Health & Safety, safe working practices and Company Policies and Procedures.

What will you need to be considered for this vacancy?

  • Minimum 3 years post qualification experience.
  • Valid, full UK driving licence.
  • Background in general maintenance.
  • Excellent communication skills - Ability to engage in a professional manner with our guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to work under pressure and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work on your own or as part of a team.
  • Good at developing sound working relationships.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety legislation.

You’ll be employed on a permanent 40 hour contract, working 5 days out of 7, including weekends, evening and bank holidays as required. Earliest start time from 8am, and latest finish time up to 8pm, varying in accordance with opening times.

This position is available for immediate start.

Location: Longleat (Warminster, Wiltshire).
