About the role: We are seeking a dedicated cleansing team member to help keep our site clean, safe, and welcoming for all guests. You'll be responsible for cleaning facilities and open spaces, replenishing supplies, and ensuring top hygiene standards throughout. What does this role entail? Reporting to the facilities manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the site remains at the highest standard of presentation and cleanliness for our guests. Working throughout the site, responsibilities include cleansing of the buildings and open spaces, including replenishing all consumables such as toilet paper and sanitisation of sinks, toilets and floors.

Key duties will include:

  • Performing general cleaning duties in the offices, staff rooms and guest facing areas with a keen eye for detail and presentation.
  • Empty litter bins and recycling, and keeping both staff and public areas clean and tidy.
  • Report any defects to your supervisor.
  • Cleaning and maintaining toilet areas to a high standard.
  • Work in an environmentally friendly manner and where practical dispose of rubbish in the relevant bins provided for recycling.
  • Use equipment, cleaning materials and resources to minimize waste and in an energy efficient way.
  • Ensure Facilities are adequately stocked and notify Supervisor when stock runs low.

About you: To act as a brand ambassador for Longleat ensuring that all work adheres to our brand guidelines/proposition and aligns with our vision of a Picture-Perfect site whilst performing the function required. To always provide a guest focused service ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of the brand. Represent the Company at all times by being smart in appearance and presentable whilst behaving in an appropriate manner in line with our cultural values. Be accountable for their own development seeking out opportunities to learn new skills to continuously improve. Work in a responsible and safe manner at all times adhering to Health & Safety, safe working practices and Company Policies and Procedures. Such other reasonable duties as and when required by your Line Manager. The above list of duties is not exclusive or exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks as may reasonably be expected within the scope of the role.

Your contract: This is a fixed term zero hour contract until 1st October 2026. Working hours to vary over a 7 day rota basis, including weekends, evening and bank holidays as required. The earliest start time is 8am, and the latest finish time is 8pm, varying in accordance with opening times.
