We are looking for a motivated and reliable Dispenser to join our friendly and supportive GP practice team. Our well-established, semi-rural training practice serves approximately 17,000 patients, including around 3,000 dispensing patients, and we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to our local community.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work as part of our busy dispensary team, ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to our patients. The role involves close collaboration with GPs, nurses, and administrative staff to provide an excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing and dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently
  • Providing advice and support to patients regarding their medication
  • Managing repeat prescriptions
  • Maintaining accurate patient records
  • Stock control and ordering of medication
  • Ensuring optimisation of medication
  • Ensuring compliance with practice policies and dispensing regulations

About You

  • Previous dispensing experience within a GP practice or community pharmacy is preferred
