Role Summary
We are seeking a certified Radiographer to operate the DEXA (Dual‑Energy X‑ray Absorptiometry) system in our Lifestyle Medicine clinic. This role combines imaging expertise with a focus on preventive care, bone health, and body composition analysis, playing a crucial part in holistic patient assessments. The ideal candidate will be experienced, detail‑oriented, and passionate about promoting health and lifestyle in a clinical setting aligned with Singapore’s healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform DEXA (Dual‑Energy X‑ray Absorptiometry) scans of the spine, hip, and body composition as per clinical protocols.
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and image quality for optimal diagnostic value.
- Conduct daily machine calibration, quality assurance checks on the DEXA equipment in line with NEA and AHPC safety standards.
- Ensuring radiation safety standards and proper data entry and documentation in the CMS.
- Explain scan procedures and radiation risks to patients, ensuring informed consent in accordance with Singapore's healthcare ethics and privacy laws.
- Keep all radiation‑related records available for audits and inspections.
- Assisting the Head of Clinical Operations on quality checks and internal audits to maintain licensing compliance.
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated care.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Diagnostic Radiography from a recognised institution.
- Registered Radiographer with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC), Singapore.
- Possession of a valid Radiation Worker License issued by the NEA‑RPNSD.
- Trained in operating DEXA equipment (GE Lunar or Hologic).
- Sound knowledge of MOH guidelines, Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), and infection control standards.
- Certification in radiation safety, body composition analysis, or basic life support (BCLS) is good to have.
- Interest in Lifestyle Medicine, metabolic health, or musculoskeletal wellness is highly desirable.
