Overview

Longdean School is seeking a Social Sciences Teacher for maternity cover, required from October 2026. The position can be full time or part time for the right candidate (0.7FTE minimum).

Responsibilities

  • Teach Social Sciences across subjects such as L3 Health and Social Care, Psychology, and Sociology at GCSE and A Level.
  • Cover maternity leave within the faculty and contribute to a flourishing, high-performing team.
  • Engage students with dynamic and inspiring lessons to develop confidence, independent thinking, and a lasting passion for learning.
