We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to support our friendly Design and Technology Team as a Technician. This is a great opportunity for those wishing to embark upon a Technician career within a school where D&T is the heart of STEM. The successful candidate will have experience of working within a workshop environment, understand Health and Safety importance, maintain and service machinery, and have CAD/CAM (Laser Cutter and 3D printer) skills, where necessary training will be given. Experience of working within an educational context would be advantageous but training will be given.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Design and Technology Team
  • Maintain and service workshop machinery
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Operate CAD/CAM equipment (Laser Cutter, 3D printer)

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a workshop environment
  • Practical, organised and able to work with minimum supervision
