Established in 1927, Longcliffe Quarries Ltd is the UK's leading independent supplier of limestone powder, granules and aggregates. As one of the few remaining independent hard rock quarries in England, and one of the largest still family owned, we employ over 170 people, including those whose families also have worked with us for generations, and many of our employees have been with the company for over 25 years.
The Role
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles within our yard, managing traffic flow, and enforcing site safety regulations.
Skills and Qualifications
- Valid Traffic Marshal/Banksman certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Good understanding of Health, Safety & Environmental Practices.
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with drivers and staff.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to undertake a range of tasks.
