Hours: Monday - Saturday on a rotating 8-hour shift system.
Established in 1927, Longcliffe Quarries Ltd is the UKs leading independent supplier of limestone powder, granules and aggregates. As one of the few remaining independent hard rock quarries in England, and one of the largest still family owned. We employ over 170 people, including those whose families also have worked with us for generations, and many of our employees have been with the company for over 25 years.
The Role
You will be responsible for the safe operation of the Processing Plants, SHE, Plant Inspections & Internal vehicle movements within a Quarrying Environment.
Skills and Qualifications
- Good understanding of Health, Safety & Environmental Practices.
- Experience in operating Processing & Mobile Plant.
- Flexibility to undertake a range of tasks.
- Team player and flexible can do attitude.
- Willingness to learn and attend any relevant training.
- Basic IT skills and good communicator.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills required.
- Full UK driving licence.
