As part of a replacement, we are recruiting an HR Manager for our UK team.
Reporting to the UK General Manager and working in close collaboration with the Europe Distribution HRD, your main role will be to lead, structure and drive HR strategy and operations in the UK, Ireland and Scotland supporting the growth and transformation of the retail network.
Your main responsibilities:
HR Leadership & Team Management
- Guide and structure HR processes across the UK to ensure alignment with Group standards.
- Advise and support managers on HR concerns, including recruitment, training, talent management and conflict management.
- Collaborate with HQ and act as HR Business Partner to local leadership.
- Manage and mentor the UK-based HR Assistant.
People Development & Culture
- Develop and implement robust training and development programs for both store and office teams, with a strong focus on future managers.
- Promote a culture of accountability, autonomy, and continuous learning.
- Lead cultural change initiatives to strengthen managerial practices.
Legal & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with UK employment laws.
- Handle complex individual cases and advise managers accordingly.
- Anticipate regulatory developments and implement necessary adjustments.
HR Project & Strategic Initiatives
- Work closely with France HQ on strategic HR projects such as implementation of HRIS, onboarding redesign, learning roadmap, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Monitor and improve key HR KPIs: turnover, onboarding effectiveness, internal mobility.
Field Presence & Stakeholder Relations
- Ensure a consistent HR presence on the field, visiting stores regularly (1 day per week in UK, twice a year in Ireland and Scotland)
What you bring to the table:
- Diploma: Degree in HR or related field; CIPD Level 5 preferred
- Experience: 7+ years in HR, including experience managing complex retail teams
- Tools: Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Interpersonal skills: Strategic yet hands-on, collaborative, open, and adaptable. Strong ability to build relationships with a multicultural and operational team
- Languages: Fluent in English (native or equivalent); French is a plus
