Are you an experienced teacher looking for a new position? Here at Long Term Teachers, we are currently seeking a Year 6 Teacher to work in a 2 form entry Primary School in Bristol. This wonderful school has great expectations of their staff and are always ready to find new ways to better the teaching and learning experience we provide in order to improve the outcomes of those in our care.
The Role
As a successful candidate, you will be working on a full-time basis within a Year 6 class. As a 2 form entry school, you will need to be strong in communication and bring your own ideas to the team. The Head Teacher is looking for a candidate who has great KS2 curriculum knowledge and is a great team player, always willing to support other staff members and be flexible to adapt lessons to meet the children's needs. Being a Year 6 Teacher, you will need to work in collaboration to ensure the children are set up for success with their SATs.
You will be expected to:
- Hold great knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
- Ability to differentiate lessons well between 2 year groups.
- Create an engaging learning environment.
- Communicate well with other Year 6 Teachers, planning lessons together.
- Deliver high quality lessons to inspire and motivate.
- Assess children's development and understanding to adapt future lessons.
