General classroom support for ages 4-16 in a long-term role.
We work closely with a fantastic special school in the Truro area that is looking for a new TA to join the school. The school is based in a fantastic location and boasts a very high staff retention rate. The school looks after a very wide range of special needs & disabilities which often involve complex needs, so experience in this area is essential.
The role will mostly involve providing general classroom support as well as 1-1 support where required. The classroom teachers look to their TAs for any additional support, consistency, and proactiveness - proactiveness is the most important trait they require in a special school.
