Ad-Hoc Work Available Full-Time or Part-Time in Weston-Super-Mare.
Here at Long-Term Teachers, we work with a number of lovely Primary Schools in the Weston-Super-Mare area that seek Teaching Assistants throughout the academic year on an ad-hoc basis to cover absence. The team of staff at the majority of these Schools are caring, welcoming and very supportive, with a great passion for being part of the community, supporting pupils and their families with education and home lives.
The Role
There are a mix of opportunities available - if you are looking for flexible working to fit around your personal commitments, we have some roles available for you. You will be expected to work with the Class Teacher to support whole class teaching and behaviour and work 1:1 and with groups delivering intervention activities to advance their core subject knowledge.
You will be expected to:
- Have previous experience of working with children.
- Have high expectations of Positive Behaviour Management.
- Communicate clearly with the Class Teacher to show children’s learning and development.
- Create a positive learning environment.
- Be great at working in a team environment.
