Key stage 2 Teacher Maternity Cover
Full time Based in SN1 Term 5 until January 2025, Paid to scale. Long-Term teachers are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic qualified teacher, who is looking for temporary work within SN1, which will commence in April 2024 until January 2025.
You will be working within a lovely, secure school based in the heart of Swindon, where staff create a caring, vibrant environment, through Christian values. The children are encouraged to feel like they are a part of a ‘school family,’ where everyone works together to achieve their personal and academic goals.
The headteacher is looking for a dedicated teacher, who is able to plan fun and engaging lessons around the curriculum. You will need to have at least 3 years of experience working within schools in the UK.
Being based in the key stage 2 classroom, students will be beginning their SATS. It is vital that you can provide a supportive and rewarding environment, with the support of the class TA’s. You must be motivating, caring and patient to support students and other peers. There may be some students with a special educational need, and it is essential you can recognise what you can do to support them.
You will have an opportunity to regularly meet with SLT and SENCO to monitor students' progress and assess should changes need to be made. Commencing in April 2024, the role will conclude in January 2025.
