Flexible Working
I am working with Primary Schools around the North Somerset area who are looking for teaching assistants who can support 1:1 with SEND children and in a general classroom setting. You will have the opportunity to step into various classrooms; EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2 and support a number of pupils. You have the opportunity to work within a classroom supporting the Class Teacher or working 1:1 with an SEND child.
We are looking for candidates who are experienced or are looking to start their careers in a school setting.
The Role
This position is an opportunity for ad-hoc work; you choose when you would like to work; full-time or part-time. These schools are looking for flexible, approachable and calm individuals who can build fast and strong relationships with pupils and staff.
You will be expected to:
- Work collaboratively with the Class Teacher to assess children's development.
- Support with small group interventions.
- Opportunity to work 1:1 with SEND children.
- Opportunity to provide general support throughout the classroom with all pupils.
