Supply Teacher EYFS and KS1 from September in the North Somerset area. Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor or Qualified Teacher? Are you looking for flexible working to fit around your commitments? Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are currently working with a number of Primary Schools in the North Somerset area who are seeking candidates to deliver pre-planned lessons when the absence of a Class Teacher occurs.

As a Supply Teacher, you have the opportunity to work throughout your preferred Year Group; EYFS, KS1 or KS2.

The Role

If you are a successful candidate, you will be working 5 days a week as a Supply Teacher, covering absences throughout Primary Schools. You will be encouraged to deliver pre-planned lessons to a high expectation and adapt activities to meet the needs and understanding of the class children. You will need to work closely with other staff members within the school and communicate any successes and challenges throughout the day.

You will be expected to:

  • Work collaboratively with the Class Teacher to deliver pre-planned engaging lessons
  • Assess the children’s development and communicate with the Teacher
  • Provide guidance to the class TA to support individual children
  • Be flexible and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all children
  • Follow the school's behaviour and safeguarding policies
