Special School Year 5 Class Full teaching responsibilities (Planning & Marking) SEMH & ASD students Full-Time / Long-Term Bath Immediate start.
The school looks after students with a range of special needs but is primarily focused on students with Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs (SEMH) & ASD. The school is a well-established institution that is going through exciting changes and is looking for a teacher to lead a class of Year 5 students. The Role
This role will be leading a Year 5 class where you will be supported by 2 TAs. This role has full teaching responsibilities, so you will be expected to plan and mark your own lessons with adequate time provided for PPA (no students are in on Friday afternoons). Due to the needs of the students, it is essential you have worked with SEMH or ASD students before, as they will require someone who is confident in dealing with challenging behaviour. They are open to a range of applications, so whether you're an ECT, experienced mainstream teacher, or simply a SEN teacher looking for a change - then please apply now!

- Have confidence in leading your TAs and help develop their skillsets
- Plan & mark your own lessons
- Deescalate challenging situations
