The predicted salary is between 19350 - 23650 Β£ per year.

Full time, term time only, long-term role starting in January 2025. This position involves working with an alternative provision located in Helston that supports both primary and secondary students. The site provides Key Stage 1 and 2 students with an enriching learning programme that includes English, Maths, Science, Computing, and PSHE. The school encourages a creative curriculum, incorporating Art, Drama, and PE into the timetable. Play therapy is also offered to support some students, promoting self-esteem and independent learning.

Your key duties will include general classroom support, as well as 1:1 support and small group interventions. You will have the opportunity to implement your creative side by planning and leading activities.

The headteacher is looking for a resilient, enthusiastic teaching assistant with great experience in SEMH. Students may display challenging behaviour, so it is essential to manage these situations calmly and effectively.

This full-time position will be Monday to Friday, term time only, between the hours of 8:30 am - 3:30 pm.
