The Role:

My leading mainstream school, based a short commute from Reading, is seeking a dynamic and driven Cover Supervisor to join their team ASAP on a part-time basis (25 hours per week). The cover supervisor will be integral in maintaining a high quality education experience for students, in the absence of the classroom teacher. This role requires the delivery of lessons provided by the school cover managers or curriculum leaders. The Cover Supervisor will also be responsible for taking the attendance register for any classes supervised. Whilst experience in similar roles is beneficial, this is also an excellent opportunity for graduates and aspiring teachers with minimal classroom experience to begin their career in education. The successful candidate will be eager to hit the ground running and take on an exciting and diverse range of responsibilities.
