Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are seeking qualified Teachers, Cover Supervisors and HLTAs to work as a Supply Teacher for Primary Schools across the North Somerset & Bristol area. Due to an increase in demand from schools in your local area, a number of opportunities have arisen. These opportunities are on a day-to-day basis or for longer-term periods covering an absence. You will have the opportunity to step into various classroom settings; EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2 and deliver engaging lessons. Whether you're an experienced teacher or an Early Careers Teacher, we have great opportunities for you.
The Role
You will have the opportunity to work in a role that is flexible around your commitments. Working for Long-Term Teachers will enable you to work on a full-time or part-time basis to suit your lifestyle. Your role and responsibilities as a cover teacher will also include:
- Effectively communicate the work set by the absent teacher to students
- Managing the behaviour of pupils inside and outside the classroom
- Marking and Assessing children’s development and understanding
- Adapting any work set to ensure each child accesses the learning
