Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary School Teacher/Cover Supervisor to join our team as a supply teacher. This role is ideal for a flexible and adaptable individual who can seamlessly step in to cover classes and support teaching staff as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons across various subjects in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
- Support students with their learning and address any questions or concerns they may have.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure continuity in the delivery of the curriculum.
- Assist with administrative tasks and other duties as assigned by the school leadership team.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent experience.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to teach a variety of subjects across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the changing needs of the school.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
We would love to hear from candidates who are seeking full time, part-time or flexible supply work. You will be working Monday to Friday, during term time only. School hours may vary slightly depending on the school.
