Long-Term Teachers is working in partnership with a secondary school in the West Cornwall area seeking a committed and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join them after Easter. This is a long-term position expected to continue through to the end of the academic year.

This role would suit an experienced teacher or a confident ECT who is comfortable taking on full teaching responsibilities within a supportive department.

The Role

  • Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4
  • Full teaching responsibilities including planning and marking
  • Delivering engaging, practical and theory-based lessons in line with the curriculum
  • Supporting pupils of varying abilities to make strong progress
  • Contributing to the wider music life of the school where appropriate
