As we begin the New Academic Year, we are working with a range of schools in the Weston-Super-Mare area who are looking for Teachers to join their teams. Here at Long-Term Teachers, we want to support you to find the next best role, whether it is to build your confidence and experience as a teacher, complete part of your ECT year or have a flexible position to suit your lifestyle. You will have the opportunity to step into various classroom settings; EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2 and deliver engaging lessons. Whether you're an experienced teacher or an Early Careers Teacher, we have great opportunities for you.
The Role
You will have the opportunity to work in a long-term role in a Primary School you enjoy. These opportunities can be Part-Time or Full-Time, working around your commitments. Your role and responsibilities as a teacher will also include:
- Work collaboratively with other Key Stage or Year Group Teachers.
- Plan and deliver engaging and exciting lessons.
- Managing the behaviour of pupils inside and outside the classroom.
- Marking and Assessing children’s development and understanding.
- Differentiating activities to ensure each child accesses the learning.
What is expected of you
- Hold great curriculum knowledge throughout Primary Age Groups.
- High expectations for the children and their outcomes.
- Keen to follow behaviour and safeguarding policies.
