Here at Long-Term Teachers we have seen an increase in the need for KS2 Supply Teachers. Are you an experienced or Early Careers Teacher who enjoys working with KS2 children and teaching them exceptional curriculum lessons? A number of Primary Schools in the South Gloucestershire area are continuously looking for KS2 Teachers to support long-term absences, maternity and pre-planned absences.

The Role

These positions are flexible to work around your commitments. If you are looking for full-time or part-time work, we can support you! The Primary Schools we work closely with are seeking confident KS2 Teachers who are able to deliver pre-planned lessons, build strong relationships quickly with staff and children and use your initiative to adapt activities to meet the needs of all pupils in the class.

You will be expected to:

  • Deliver Pre-Planned lessons to the high expectations of the schools.
  • Work closely with the class Teaching Assistant to provide the best support for individual children.
  • Assess children’s work and report outcomes to the Class Teacher.
  • Communicate clearly with other Key Stage staff.
  • Build relationships with staff, pupils and parents.
