Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are seeking an enthusiastic and committed KS1 Class Teacher to join the team at a wonderful Primary School in the North Somerset area. This school is dedicated to being part of the community by building strong relationships with their students and family members. The Role

As a successful candidate, you will be expected to work on a full-time basis in their KS1 class. The Head Teacher is looking for someone with prior knowledge or experience working within a KS1 classroom. You must bring a nurturing and calm environment to the classroom to ensure the children feel safe.

You will be expected to:

  • Use your initiative to adapt activities to meet the needs of the children.
  • Have high expectations for the individual to succeed.
  • Have excellent Phonics knowledge.
  • Create a safe environment for the pupil to learn at their own pace.
  • Manage and support the child’s needs.
  • Be adaptable with the learning opportunities.
