There is a fabulous opportunity with a Primary School based in Weston-Super-Mare who are currently seeking a KS1 Teacher to join their team in October to cover MAT leave. This school is vibrant and creative, community-focused one form entry primary school and pride themselves on their ambitious curriculum and curiosity to learn.

The Role

This role is a long-term position until the end of the academic year working on a full-time basis. You will be working with a wonderful group of 29 children to encourage and motivate their learning and growth.

You will be expected to:

  • Have an excellent understanding of the KS1 curriculum.
  • Plan and deliver fun and exciting activities and lessons.
  • Be confident with differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all children.
  • Have engaging Positive Behaviour Management techniques.
  • Ability to adapt interventions to suit the needs of SEND children’s needs.
  • Work closely with the class Teaching Assistant.
