We're working on behalf of a specialist setting that looks after students with Social, Emotional, Mental Health needs aged KS2-KS5. The school is a fantastic setting that is moving to a brand new site in September. They are really proud of the important work they do, looking after students that can come from challenging backgrounds and have struggled in mainstream environments.
The role is a full-time class teaching position where you will be following the primary curriculum. The class sizes are small, around 4 students per class, and you will be supported by a permanent TA. Due to the needs of the students, it is essential that you have worked with SEMH students before, whether in a mainstream environment or a specialist setting.
