1-1 SEMH Teaching Assistant in a specialist school for Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs, working with KS3 students. This is a full-time, long-term position starting post half term.

We are working on behalf of a fantastic specialist setting that provides education, outreach, and intervention services to young people in Gloucestershire. The school caters to a range of needs but primarily focuses on students with SEMH.

The role of SEMH Teaching Assistant is varied, providing general 1-1 support across KS3 classes and teachers. You don't need to be a subject specialist, but ideally, you would hold a GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths & English and be able to support across a range of subjects. Enjoying 1-1 support is essential as the support you will be providing is mostly in small group settings, allowing you to build real relationships with the students.

Due to the needs of the students, it is desirable to have worked with SEMH students before, ideally in a school setting. This is a long-term position.
