‘Something, somewhere incredible is waiting to be discovered’. I am currently working on behalf of a secondary school based in Bath that is looking for a science teacher to teach across key stage 3 and 4. The role is a temp to perm; however, for the right candidate, they can go straight to permanent. The role is flexible, making it perfect for an experienced teacher who wants to decrease their hours yet still keep their hand in teaching. Alternatively, if you are a Science teacher who has taken some time away and wants to return to teaching while managing family life, this is the perfect role for you.

The role will involve:

  • Planning and marking
  • Delivering exciting and engaging lessons to students
  • Working proactively with other members of the department

What the client is looking for:

  • A kind, approachable individual
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Assertiveness
  • QTS or at least 1 year experience teaching in UK schools
  • A confident communicator
  • A strong understanding of the Science Curriculum
  • Strong behaviour management
  • At least 1 year experience teaching in a UK school

The school prioritises strong subject knowledge and seeks a teacher who can engage their students in learning while pushing them to be the best they can be in and out of the classroom.
