Full-time / Long-term / Short-term positions available in special schools within SEND & SEMH environments from 8:30am to 3:15pm. Ideally, immediate starts are preferred.

We are working closely with some fantastic special schools in the Devizes area that are looking for Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join their teams. There are a variety of different roles currently available, all ideally on a full-time basis. These schools cater to a mixture of SEMH & SEND students (ASD, SEMH, SLD, MLD, PMLD, Complex Needs) aged 4-19.

The Role: The role of LSA will vary from school to school but typically involves providing general classroom support, one-to-one work, and assisting the class teacher as needed. You will typically work alongside other Teaching Assistants (TAs) in the class, so being a natural team player is important. Due to the nature of these special schools, it is imperative that you have some form of experience working with special needs. Ideally, you would have supported in schools before, but for the right candidate, applications from those with support work experience will be considered.
