An exciting opportunity to join a diverse and inclusive Primary School in the BS13 area of South Bristol has arisen. The Head Teacher is looking for a Class Teacher to join the KS2 team who have a high level of knowledge of the KS2 curriculum. The school prides itself on the learning opportunities they provide their students and have opportunities across the curriculum that develops and secures skills. This school has recently joined a large trust who have a number of schools across the Bristol area. Staff across the schools support one another by sharing ideas and ways to engage their children in learning.
The Role
This position is a part-time Teaching role from January working Monday and Tuesdays until the Summer. The Head Teacher is looking for someone who has prior experience as a KS2 teacher, with a high level of knowledge to allow for differentiation across the class teaching children from 2 year groups.
You will be expected to:
- Plan and deliver high quality lessons that engage and promote learning.
- Have a great understanding of the KS2 curriculum to differentiate lessons to develop each child.
- Work closely with other year group staff to provide equal opportunities for children.
- Work closely with the class Teaching Assistant to provide the best support for SEND children.
- Mark and assess children’s development in line with the schools marking scheme.
